Minnesota Signs Sessions

Yet another Wisconsin athlete may be moving to the land of 10,000 lakes. Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is reporting that the Timberwolves have signed Milwaukee Bucks point guard Ramon Sessions to a 4-year, $16 million offer sheet.

The Bucks do have the opportunity to match the deal but given their current financial state, you can pretty much assume that Ramon is a goner in Milwaukee. Matching the T-Wolves offer would put the Bucks into luxury tax territory yet again and as long as John Hammond is managing this team you won't see them go there again.

Minnesota gets a young, talented point guard and they get to save some face after the Ricky Rubio draft fiasco. Meanwhile, Milwaukee will undoubtedly be going with Brandon Jennings at point guard.
