Badgers Recap vs. Michigan State

Badger fans are smiling after defeating Michigan State 38-30, giving them a 4-0 record for the season. The Badgers were firing on all cylinders to a packed Camp Randall, and the fans received quite a surprise. The Wisconsin Badgers might actually have a legit starting quarterback in Scott Tolzien. The defense for the Badgers also had a great game with four forced turnovers.

QB - A
Folks, Scott Tolzien may be the real deal. He was 19 for 31 with four TD and looked outstanding.

RB - B+
Racine native John Clay rushed for 142 yards and 1 TD. Clay carried the majority of the workload, with Zach Brown carrying the ball for a measly 18 yards on 11 carries.

WR - A
What more do you want from your starting TE? Garrett Graham caught three Tolzien touchdowns, while making the Michigan State defense look silly a few times. Nick Toon also caught a TD pass.

Offensive Line - B
The Badgers offensive line did what they needed to do for four quarters, and in the 2nd half it paid off. The O-line provided Tolzien with enough time to keep the Badgers in front with two pivotal passing touchdowns.

Defense - B
The Badgers created four turnovers and created three of the turnovers into points. However, they also gave up 30 points during the game.

The Badgers travel to Minnesota next to week to play the Golden Gophers for the Paul Bunyan axe. Last year, the Badgers defeated Minnesota 35-32. With a victory next week, the Badgers could improve their Big 10 record to 2-0.
