Packers sign Giordano, cut Rouse loose
Say hello to the newest Green Bay Packer!
Considering the fact that Bigby is out and Collins is quetionable for week 3, the Packers have picked up another safety. Matt Giordano, who played for the Colts the last 4 seasons, will replace Aaron Rouse as the back-up to Bigby or Collins. Giordano was a 4ourth round pick in 2005 out of the university of California.
It is a bit strange that they would cut Rouse to make room on the roster. I mean, why not cut one of the THREE fullbacks? Just a thought...
